A clear view of privacy.
What this Tutor installation stores, and why.
Accounts and learning progress
When you register, ASP.NET Core Identity stores your email, password hash, and account information. Signed-in tutorial visits and completion are associated with your account. Bookmarks, appearance, editor preference, and guest completion are stored in your browser's local storage. Clear the site's browser data to remove those local preferences.
Site analytics
This installation records visited paths, response status, timing, browser information, referrers, and a persistent first-party visitor cookie named tutor_sid. Signed-in visits may be associated with your account. IP addresses are hashed with a date-based input; this is pseudonymization, not a guarantee of anonymity. Identity account routes are excluded from analytics so confirmation and reset tokens are not collected.
External resources
The site requests fonts from Google Fonts. Documentation links take you to external sites with their own policies. Bootstrap, icons, syntax highlighting, and application scripts are served locally. The practice lab sends its form values to this server to demonstrate MVC validation; those values are not saved.
Managing your data
Use your account's Personal data page to download or delete Identity account data. For deletion of related analytics and tutorial records, contact the operator of this installation. Administrators should set retention periods and contact details before publishing a public service.
